Nose Surgery – Rhinoplasty Information

The two broad categories of interventions

How is the procedure?

The day of the operation:

* Bleeding is controlled by compression. The surgeon will slide locks in the nose (bold dressing shaped bits) and poses a plaster cast, or a metal splint.
* The alarm is not painful, you’ll simply be embarrassed to breathe because of the locks.
* After 24 hours, the locks are removed, your eye may be blue and a little swollen.
* After ten days, you take away the splint.
